Poetry Recitation Competition anjuran SK Kg Rahmat
Jangan lepaskan peluang untuk sertai!
1- Open to pupils of LEVEL 2 primary schools in Setiu. (1 Male and 1 Female)
2- Format of competition
a) The competition is divided into two sections as follows:
Section 1: Prepared Poem (Preliminary)
(1) Participants will recite a prepared poem for not less than 3 minutes and not more than 4 minutes.
(2) The performance should be recorded in video format, with 720p as minimum resolution and 1080p as the maximum.
(3) The video must be uploaded to YouTube and link must be sent to the organizer.
(4) The fee is RM1 per head (for certificate etc.) Please contact Teacher Nor Rumaizah 019-9841784.
(5) The decision of the judges is final.
Section 2: Final Stage
a) The best participants (5 male, 5 female), will be contacted by the organiser two weeks after the dateline for Final Stage.
3. Text
a) The poem must be entirely authentic and original and must never have been published or have won a prize in any other competition prior to this competition.
b) The theme is FREE.
c) Materials presented must not touch on sensitive issues, such as race, religion, stereotyping, politics etc.
d) A copy of the poem must be submitted to the organizer.
4. Attire
a) Participants should be in formal school uniform when competing.
5. Recitation
a) Participants are not allowed to refer to any notes or printed materials during the presentation.
b) Participants must not present a commentary of the poem.
c) Participants must start the recitation by mentioning the title and the writer of the poem.
d) There should be no inclusion of singing, music, props or artificial sound effects.
e) A theatrical performance of the poem is not allowed.
f) No editing video.
